Dewulf now with Level X - Data and AI-driven analysis

Dewulf has launched Level X, a transformative high‑tech concept for precision potato harvesting. Already available on selected self‑propelled Dewulf models, Level X brings smart data, AI‑driven automation and intuitive ease of use together to elevate machine and operator performance in the field.

At APH Group, we’ve seen it in action this season, and we’re seriously impressed. From smarter decision-making to consistent performance, Level X makes every operator a top performer.

Level X is more than a future vision, it is ready for action today. Key features include:

  • Real‑time data gathering: IoT connectivity monitors GPS position, fuel & AdBlue consumption, machine modes (harvesting, transport, turning) and field productivity (ha/hour).
  • Visual feedback & operator support: In the “Silver” configuration, a camera system along with memory‑settings and remote access allow operators to fine‑tune parameters and view the process live.
  • Full automation in the “Gold” configuration: The machine actively makes decisions based on sensors, data and AI‑analysis, guaranteeing consistent quality regardless of operator, adjusting automatically to crop, soil and conditions, and boosting output without additional effort.

It’s all about maximizing machine potential while supporting the operator like never before.

APH Group’s role and perspective

At APH Group we are very proud and satisfied to be part of this development. We had the privilege of having one Level X‑equipped Dewulf machine in the field this season and have been amazed by the results. Leveraging the power of this technology means our customers can turn their harvesters into the best harvest operator you could wish for.

  • Consistency across operators: Level X ensures quality performance whether the machine is driven by a seasoned pro or a less‑experienced operator.
  • Increased flexibility and output: With the machine applying optimal settings automatically, growers can expect higher throughput and productivity. For example, under ideal conditions the machine can harvest up to 2 km/h faster using calibrated settings, or adapt slightly slower when unloading on the move.
  • Reduced operator burden: Previously, continuous manual adjustment was required. Level X takes over many of those decisions so the operator can focus on oversight and strategy, rather than reactive tweaking.
  • Balance of control and support: Growers retain full control while receiving machine‑assisted optimisation. The aim is full capacity with low risk of mistakes.
