No valves or seals as the design eliminates back-flow and siphoning, even when the pump has no power.
Self priming and capable of ‘running dry’ without any damage.
Capable of handling highly viscous fluids that would typically block a conventional pump.

The Horizon Applied Technologies RotorFlex Peristaltic Pump is a purpose‑built modular pump developed for regenerative farming applications and precision fertiliser handling. This robust pump is engineered to overcome the limitations of traditional pump technologies such as centrifugal or diaphragm systems, providing accurate, low‑maintenance fluid delivery on a wide range of agricultural machinery.

RotorFlex has been developed with the unique needs of regenerative farmers in mind. It’s simple yet highly reliable peristaltic mechanism handles compost teas and other complex liquids with ease, addressing issues common to conventional pumps such as sensitivity to particulates and variable fluid densities.

Peristaltic Pump Technology
The pump operates by compressing a flexible hose with a rotating roller to draw liquid through the tube. Because only the hose contacts the fluid, RotorFlex eliminates risk of fluid‑induced wear and tear. This design also eliminates the need for valves, filters, or impellers that can damage microbes in delicate compost teas.

Low Maintenance & Easy Service The patented rotor assembly can be removed using just four bolts, giving quick access to hoses for cleaning or replacement. The modular design also allows quick changes of tube manifolds and hose diameters to suit different applications in the field.
