SpeedTube from Precision Planting is a high-speed seed delivery system designed to enable growers to plant at up to twice the normal speed without sacrificing accuracy. It uses dual feeder wheels and a flighted belt to move seed off the vSet meter directly into the trench, preventing bouncing or tumbling and ensuring precise placement even at high ground speeds. Field studies show that farmers can plant soybeans and corn at speeds up to 10 MPH while maintaining or even improving yield, with soybean trials indicating a +2.3 Bu/A gain compared to conventional tubes and corn trials showing a +2.1 Bu/A increase at 6–8 MPH.
